Nostalgic moments man!

Haha, this really reminds me of the music I created when I just started Ü!! It's Fruitytastic! I can hear this is created in FLP by the 3xOsc and by the way it clips at certain points in the song. Try using some suffisticated compression at certain points (or use the Fruity Loops standard Soft Limiter© for living your life at BPM-rate of 190, 24/7 ;), that will clean the song up a little :)
The composition is cool! It works; sounds video-gamish, a little far-east and up-tempo fresh :D
It's not what you hear on the charts, but it's great for a certain underground crowd :D!
I could see you grow out to be an AP-legend one day!! (if you can find the motivation and discipline to practice, hehe:)

Thanks man! And I have NO Idea how to pronounce your name ;D Yes, I did use 3x Osc. How did you know? Thanks again!

Hoover

The Hoover Rave synth! Nice one :) It's a pretty common synth, so I thought the whole sounded a bit cliché in the beginning... But you made it work man! It's nicely mixed in and effects of the synth really make it kickass. The weird vocoded/humanized sounds are kickass man! ... But I think you should've given it another name. It lacks of some speed and a proper berakbeat to be a battle song... It sounds more like a spy-ish song to be honest :) Anyway, good job man!

Nice

Nice song. The intro is kinda video-gamish, which isn't really my style. It makes me think of Maplestory indeed (never played that, but I have a little bro and sis). The chord progression that comes after the intro is nice, although the 6th chord is kinda awkward. What I was hearing after that was, sadly, way to clipped. Put a soft-clipper on the clipping synth(s), or normalize your song to -1 dB before releasing it :) That way, the song'll stay crystal clear! Overall it's a nice video-gamish trancey song, but it isn't trance or dance... So you get a -1 for genre placement ;)

Music-story responds:

Maple story? What is that? Sounds like pancake syrup to me. Contrary to the belief dance must be rave....this is considered let's say a happy dance. I can see little kids dancing to this tune. Maybe not the teens or older. I have no clue what this clipper thing is. I;m still a newb with my music program...only been using it for like 2 months. Do you use logic express 7? Can you tell me how to do this clipping thing. Oh and normalize too. I can only normalize the audio tracks but not my midi keyboard notes. PM would be nice. I guess you thought this song wasn't happy. :( I did think this was a happy tune. Maybe I need little bells and whistles next time. Thanks for rev. and hopefully you can help me out.

Hey man

Why don't you just make one "whole" song out of this? I mean, it's pretty kickass! (apart from the mastering)

TalonVulpes responds:

It actually is a whole song, I just thought it would allow for more flexibility if I cut it up into two loops for flash designers to use.

Now that...

... is pricne of Persia :) The synth is just fat :D! The beat however, is a bit simple (reminds me of ...erh... bubbling :P) Anyways, the bass is good and the mastering is phenomenal for mid 2004! Good job bozo!

Rubbertje responds:

Haha, :D Thanks :P

Wow man

That was teh pathest shizzle I've ever heard ROFLROFLROFLROFLROFLROFL!

Rubbertje responds:

Whahaha :D Thanks bro

Yo M8!

Can't be arsed with writing a "proper" review now, just wanted to say I absolutly LOVE this track and congratz on 1st weeksy man!

Kingbastard responds:

I can't be arsed with leaving a proper response, so chicken, flagulation, monkey spunk, tanks:)

Nice

Although it's unfished, it's pretty neat :) I only dislike the choir lead you put in after the "Chorus" (The hard part). I really love the beats you use, although the whole thing could have been mixed out WAY better, hence the 7 on clarity. Also, the intro is way too long for such a short preview, but I'm sure you'll make it better in the full version. I'm lookin forward, cuz this rocks monkey's ass :)

Pretty damn good :)

You got a nice little project there :) Although it's ambient, I was grooving all the way trough the song! The voices (Neil Armstrong) were pretty neat, aswell was the weird flanged/phased hit (?) you used :) Really made the atmosphere. Also, I must compliment you on you final mixing... It's pretty clear and the bass tones flow real nice in there! The only thing that was missing were some nice effects (panned or so?) trough the song. Otherwize a pretty phat song, which really sets the atmosphere. Keep it up!

PS. I'm looking forward to your next release!

Haha

As a trekkie myself (not a bigtimer, just someone who enjoys watching star trek very much, especially voyager!) I totally loved the flow of this song. The borg voice is cool and even though this song isn't that spectacular in any innovative musical way, the voice and the teckish flow made this piece great :D! Props up! The lead was kinda cheesy, but the voice was great. My only real big complaint was that the atmosphere in this song doesn't feel borg-ish. It's 2 happy. It sounds like a wild dance party onboard Voyager after defeating some weird alien species. I totaly imagine everyone dancing; Tuvok just standing still on the middle of the dancefloor saying: "Dancing is unlogical". Heck, this song is original in it's own way! Keep up the creativity girl!
