Basic and Chillin'
Chilled out man :) I'de really love to put some lyrics over this one :) I hear your song "build-up" is quite the same in both of your songs I've heard... Weird, cool and space intro, followed by a cool bridge and alot of phat effects on the lead, like the pitchin :) Love this one :) The only thing it misses are hits and really catchy stuff, like lyrics :)

The only requirment that i have if you put lyrics to it, is that you give me credit for the sogn...thats it realy, in fact, i would reallylike to hear what you come up with for lrics. all in all though, thanx for reviewing my song, and i will be puttin up more of my songs, but i have dial up, so i gotta wait till i get to my cousins house, otherwise it takes me a good 3 hrs to up load my shit.

This is impressive. The tune is so great... It sounds very, very, very sci-fi. The weird, panned effects really gave this track it's charm, aswell did the weird off-beat background string... The free-filtered "lead" was really creepy and space at the same time... The track really crept into my mind, I'de love to hear this in a sci-fi game! The beat was very basic, but very efficient. The "bridge" or change, in the middle of the song, was really cool :) It altered the atmosphere, which is cool :) But, the best thing in the whole song was... The extreme pitch effect of the bg string at some parts! Congratz man, you have potential to become an ambience legacy like Kingbastard (AKA Weeksy, AKA Monkeybullman)

Hey, i really appreciate you taking time to review my shit. i checked out your page, and HOLY SHIT, you have a shit load of music. i was really impressed. the thing you said about the beat, "beat was very basic, but very efficient." i felt like at first, maybe i shoud change the beat, but then i let a few friends listen to it..they didn't rally like it..so i decided that it fit in with the song. look forward to more of your reviews whence i get more songs up on here. i will go check out some of this kingbastards stuff.
BTW...i was really confused as to what category of music to throw this song in, alot of people are tellin me that its ambient, but i listened to some ambient, and still didn't think it fit, but whatever. the next song i am puttin up is called "From The Depths of a Mindless Mind", if you liked this one, i think you will like that one as well.

THE BASS SUCKS! Seriously, drop the SimSynth basses (NOTE, Obenheim, etc). Steal some basses from other FLP songs :) Open sampler screen > Left top > Save Assigned Sample (or something) and save it :) It's really usefull... I made alot of songs with Pilchard's bass :D

This sounds like a xmas song indeed, but it's just 2 dessonant at some places (when the lead ques in!). The hi hat you use is major suckage². Mail me to get some pretty interresting dance packs and such :) I have over 15 gB of off-FLP samples :) Nice little soothing song, lol... You DO have potential man, I can hear it in your scheme usage...Wish I could do shit like that ;)

Video Game Music...
HEY! I KNOW THAT BASS :D I used that when I started FLP aswell :P Now I make my own sounds, but that aside. Not much happened, some fills and some cool changes (or just add-ups) could have tensed this alot :D I'm working on video game music now (for Coresoft, a small video game producin company in The Netherlands) and I think they wouldn't like it if I made this as a video game song ;) The basic is good, but it's kinda monotone. Loops have 2 be short but with alot of changes, so that you won't get bored even after listening to it for a million times. But keep it up man, you have potential!

Ok, cool
But it lacks of alot of stuff. Try more effects on the lead (f9 in FLP) and try to make the hihat change somewhere in the song, to give it a more "powerful" feel :) I love the groove of this, but it's just lackin... Hope we can collab some day man :D
